ABOUT
Storyteller & political commentator
I'm naturally curious and an excellent writer. My entire career has been about telling stories, starting as a journalist and then moving into communications.
For more than 20 years, I have been providing strategic communications advice to leaders and teams as a self-employed communications consultant.
I quickly build strong working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and interviewees. Another strength is my ability to think strategically while also delivering strong tactical communications.
I am passionate about strengthening democracy in New Zealand.
I care deeply about how citizens engage in our democracy and helping people to understand why it matters.
I believe in helping young New Zealanders understand civics so they can play an active role in society. I am the Communications Trustee for Generation Vote (a volunteer organisation that delivers non- partisan civics education).
I also provide pro-bono communications support for re:Shape that is working towards a stronger, fairer democracy that works for everyone.
